Mano was born in Bulgaria in the city of Sofia on August 9th 1953. His real name is Emanuil Kirilov Boev. Graduated at the Higher Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering alongside he worked at the studio of Prof. Dimitar Daskalov where he mastered the technique and skills of a performer - from the miniature model to the final stage of the sculpture work. Later he worked with most of the famous Bulgarian sculptors like Prof. Velichko Minekov, Prof. Dimitar Boykov, Prof. Dimitar Daskalov, Prof. Boris Gondov, Prof. Lyuben Dimitrov, Prof. Valentin Starchev, Prof. Sekul Krumov, Prof. Georgi Tchapkanov and many others. During the period 1974-1990 he participated in the realization of about 150 monuments and 1000 figures, reliefs, models compositions and other plastic art objects, many of them exhibited abroad. He has also some author's works of his own, assigned to him by the Union of the Artists, whose member he has been since 1979. After 1992 he began to work with the artist Andrey Lekarski, with whom they created a number of sculptures for exhibitions and monuments in France. During the same period he also started his working relations with the great painter, stage designer, sculptor and publisher Mihail Chemiakin, the mutual work with whom was of significant importance to him. This work encompasses many famous international projects, the execution of which furthered his professional growth and creative career.
